With an increasingly busy lifestyle, Jordyn Evans, founder of Mingle Seasoning felt she didn’t have enough time to sit down for a meal with her Nan. After their first meal together in 6 months, she learnt just how important getting back to the dinner table really is.
Feeling guilty after not seeing her nan in a long time, Jordyn decided it was time to give her a call and invite her over for dinner. She realised that as busy as she was, her nan was not getting any younger.
“Not only was she impressed by my creation which took 20 mins to make with Mingle, but she started to open up and we had a really nice dinner” says Jordyn.
We often forget to check in with our loved ones and with many families going through their own battles, it is easy to lose our sense of how precious our relationships are. Jordyn believes that dinner time and creating meals together, can help us reconnect and create lasting memories.
Mingle strives to change the concept of the dinner table in Australian homes by spending more quality time together whilst creating delicious meals.
“You will want to share your creations with others, making you feel more connected with those special ones around you. This ultimately is the real spice to life!” says Jordyn.
